When I am not singing, I enjoy spending time with my wife Sandy and our four children, Bethany, Emily, McKenzy and Riley. I work as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Intermediate for a paid ambulance service. I spend 48 hours a week in an ambulance. I also have a small landscaping business with which I have several contracts with our local township to keep cemeteries mowed and cleaned. I have been the in the local volunteer fire department for the past 19 years, serving many of those as the Captain of the East Branch Fire Department Ambulance Squad. If there is any time left over, I enjoy hunting, snowmobiling in the winter and ATV riding in the summer.
After Jesus, I owe my happiness to my wonderful wife Sandy. Somehow she manages to keep all four children on the right path and keeps me straight, as well. God placed Sandy in my life and blessed us with four wonderful children. In May 2002, Sandy had to leave behind a very good career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where she served as Warden's Secretary for 10 years because Bethany & Emily were so sick prior to being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in April 2004. Sandy also served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and another seven years in the Air National Guard, while employed by the Federal prison system.
